It has to be flip-flops, they are a holiday essential, although maybe not on a ski holiday!

Hang-on, I'm thinking about this a little further now, it has to be a decent digital camera, take home the memories of that last trip. Get home and look at the snaps and feel gutted you're still not wherever you were!!

Hiking boots and lots of good socks. I just got back from Japan, where it rained for a good three or four days without a stop. Sore feet are no fun, and sore wet feet are worse--there's nothing better than putting on a new pair of warm dry socks!

I wouldn't go anywhere without my iPhone. It's the best piece of equipment I own because it gives me all the information I need to move around independently when I'm on vacation.

I must have with me my wallet,cellphone and digital camera. 1top and 3 short pants of course with undies together with me when I travel.

My favourite travel items would include a torch (as in Asia the electricity is known to cut out), a scarf you can use as a blanket for long journeys/a pillow/when you are cold and a first aid kit.

I think that it's up to whereever we go. For example, if you go to the beach, you should take some hat, suncream. But you need tent, anti-mosquito cream, flash-lamp...
